Tracks and machines
Each of the six tracks holds one machine: a sound source or an FX machine. Pick the track with ALGORITHM; on an 8-knob page, SELECT changes its machine.
Synth machines
- SWSAW
- SuperWave saw: a detuned stack with subs.
- SWPLS
- SuperWave pulse with PWM and a second voice.
- SID
- A 6581-style oscillator: TRI, SAW, PULS, NOIS, with a second oscillator, sync and ring.
- FM+
- Two-operator FM with ratio, index, feedback and a modulator envelope.
- DPRO
- Wavetable scan and fold.
- GND
- Sine, triangle, noise or digital, with a pitch envelope: kicks, toms, tones.
- VO-6
- A formant voice: vowels, breath and resonance.
FX machines
- THRU
- Gain only: a second set of track effects for another track.
- REVRB
- Gated plate reverb: DEC DAMP GATE MIX HP LP.
- CHRS
- Stereo chorus.
- DYNMX
- Compressor and limiter.
- RING
- Ring modulator.
- PHASR, FLANG
- Phaser and flanger.
An FX machine makes no sound of its own: its input (EDIT, then the TRACK pages: IN) is the previous track (NEIB) or a bus (AB, CD, EF), and it passes audio once a trig opens its envelope. Each track's OUT picks its bus, or OFF.
